1. Scope of Service

1.1 Kind to Your Mind offers online talking-therapy  focused on emotional wellbeing, overthinking, boundaries, self-awareness and personal growth.
1.2 These sessions are non-clinical. They do not include psychological diagnosis, medical treatment, or crisis intervention.
1.3 Anushka Tiwari is psychologist or medical practitioner. The work combines reflective discussion and structured mentoring techniques for personal development.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Clients must be 18 years or older and able to give informed consent.
2.2 If you are currently receiving statutory mental-health or crisis support, please disclose this before booking to ensure suitability.
2.3 Services are provided to clients based in the United Kingdom unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Bookings & Payment

3.1 All sessions are delivered online via a secure video platform.
3.2 Bookings are confirmed once payment is received in full or, where agreed, the first instalment is paid.
3.3 Fees and session durations appear on the Services page and may change with reasonable notice.
3.4 Late arrivals shorten the session; the full fee remains payable.
3.5 If technical failure occurs, the provider will attempt to continue by telephone or reschedule without extra charge.

4. Cooling-Off & Early-Start

4.1 Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, online clients have a 14-day cooling-off period from the booking date.
4.2 If you request sessions to begin within this period, you expressly waive part of this right, accepting that completed sessions are chargeable and non-refundable.

5. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

  • More than 24 hours’ notice: session may be rescheduled once at no cost.
  • Less than 24 hours’ notice or no-show: full fee charged.
  • Packages: once started, non-refundable. Unused sessions may be rescheduled within three months of purchase, subject to availability.
  • Before first session: cancellations made more than 48 hours before the start of a package receive a full refund minus payment-processor fees.
  • Therapist cancellation: full refund or alternative slot offered.
  • Exceptional circumstances (for example illness or bereavement) may be handled at the provider’s discretion.

6. Confidentiality & Safeguarding

6.1 All sessions are confidential except when:
(a) there is serious risk of harm to you or others;
(b) there is risk to a child or vulnerable adult; or
(c) disclosure is required by law.
6.2 Brief factual session notes are kept for continuity and stored securely; no sessions are audio- or video-recorded.
6.3 Anonymised material may be discussed in professional supervision in line with the BACP Ethical Framework.

7. Professional Standards & Insurance

7.1 The provider adheres to the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice covering competence, supervision, and confidentiality.
7.2  Professional Insurance: Kind to Your Mind – Talking Therapy & Mentoring holds active professional-indemnity and public-liability insurance. Documentary proof can be provided upon request.

8. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • attend punctually and prepared;
  • ensure a private, distraction-free environment and reliable connection;
  • engage honestly and take responsibility for applying insights between sessions;
  • seek emergency medical or crisis support if at risk of harm;
  • maintain respectful conduct (abuse, harassment or discriminatory remarks will terminate services immediately).

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 The provider will exercise reasonable care and skill but cannot guarantee specific outcomes.
9.2 No liability is accepted for indirect or consequential loss.
9.3 Total liability is limited to the total fees paid for the relevant service, except where prohibited by law.
9.4 Clients remain responsible for their personal decisions and actions following sessions.


10. Crisis & Emergencies

Sessions are not suitable for urgent or crisis situations.
If you feel unsafe or at risk of harm:

  • Call 999 or go to A&E; or
  • Contact NHS 111 (mental-health option); or
  • Reach Mind Helpline 0300 123 3393 ( mind.org.uk ).

11. Intellectual Property

All written materials, worksheets and digital resources remain the intellectual property of Kind to Your Mind. They may not be copied, shared or distributed without written consent.

12. Termination

Either party may end ongoing work with 24 hours’ notice in writing.
Fees for sessions already provided remain payable.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

14. Transparency Notice – What to Expect

Talking therapy can sometimes evoke difficult emotions before improvement occurs. Outcomes depend on individual engagement.
Online work relies on internet stability; where issues arise, the session will continue by telephone or be rescheduled.
